As we introduced in our last VetMeasure blog post, our engineering team at Sapien, LLC. has updated the MeasureON! chassis. These updates improve user experience when interacting with the harness and increased the accuracy of data readings.
The Axillary straps:
The updated MeasureON! harness features elastic axillary straps rather than the previous ribbon-like straps that required manual adjustment and tightening. These elastic straps apply the appropriate amount of pressure, ensuring the temperature sensors maintain good contact with the dog’s axillary region. While the elastic itself is black on both straps, color coordinating ribbon is used to attach the buckles, allowing users to match the grey straps on a dog’s right side and the blue straps on the dog’s left side.
The module compartment of the chassis has been updated with design features to increase usability. The front of the module now features the VetMeasure logo and harness size. Additionally, two (2) new snaps uncover the module, allow easy access to the charging port, so users no longer have to fully remove the electronic panel from the chassis for charging. Additionally, the MeasureON!’s serial number is also visible directly above the charging port.
Please note that in no circumstance does VetMeasure recommend charging the MeasureON! Harness while on a patient. The harness must be physically removed and disconnected from the patient to charge MeasureON!.
